The Do Good Advertising
Newsletter - December 2006 |
 |
|
Well hello
there.
Welcome to our very first newsletter e-bulletin type thingy.
Hopefully from this, and future versions, you can get a good
idea of what we are up to, and who we are doing it with. (Also,
any tips on what you’d like to see on a newsletter, please
let us know.)
As you may be aware, Do Good Advertising is a newly formed
company, so a lot of the work we are currently involved in
is also in the early stages.
But the response we have had regarding Do Good has been incredibly
positive (a lot better than we ever had imagined), and we would
like to thank all those very nice people who have been supportive
and helpful in the early development of the agency.
Remember, we are still looking to increase our client list,
so if you think we could do good advertising and design for
you, please get in touch. |
Equal Say
Another new client, Equal Say www.equalsay.org provide
advocacy for adults with learning difficulties. We are currently
working on re-branding their identity including a new logo
with strapline, website and all their promotional materials
including leaflets and stationery.

Paths To Health
A project we are working on just now, we are designing and
producing 3 manuals and accompanying posters aimed at recruiting
and training walk leaders. An organisation established to encourage
walking for heath improvement in Scotland, it really has been
fantastic working with such great, friendly and professional
people. (Of course, we say that about all our clients!) www.pathstohealth.org.uk |
Brand & Rae
We have been asked to work on a new website for this forward-thinking
manufacturer. The first company in Scotland to produce a
concrete block made from mostly recycled materials, Brand & Rae
have a strict environmental policy, which has led to several
awards. Their old website is still online at: www.brandandrae.co.uk

Nil By Mouth
Working
alongside Alan O’Hagan Advertising we have been approached
by the anti-sectarian charity to create new posters and
work on TV concepts addressing the issue of sectarianism
in Scotland. A very worthwhile cause that we first worked
on several years ago, it’s great getting involved
again.
You can find out more about Nil By Mouth by visiting their
website. Also you can see more samples of posters we
produced for Nil By Mouth in our
portfolio

Stabiliser
Power!
Have bike, will terrify parents. Eva, Stephen’s first
born, hits the road (well park really) on her very first bike.
All she has to master now is the brakes… |
In the Pipeline
We’ve had lots of very positive emails and some really
good meetings (ah, it’s nice to feel wanted) – notably
with Waste Aware Scotland, John Muir Trust, Quit&Save and
Glasgow City Health Walks. Watch this space…
We’re also consistently looking at ways to improve our
green credentials. We’ll hopefully give you an update
of what we’re doing to achieve this in our next newsletter. |
A Welcome
to Joanne
Do Good is expanding! We’ve
been joined by graphic designer, Joanne McEwan, (part-time
for just now) who has experience working on the social enterprise
sector.
Joanne will be helping out in many areas of the Do Good business – what
has she let herself in for?! |
